I read what I needed to but can't say that I loved it, nor like it. If so, why did he leave in the chapter???I have tremendous respect for Gilder. These reflections, Hillocks maintains, ought to take place within a working framework or theory of what writing entails, like the one the book lays out.. This is one of my most used reference books on IBD and other problems, probably because he provides a lot of medical wisdom mixed with good common sense. Professor Hatcher's research and his broad historical approach makes this book not only compelling but also historically important in that his first hand accounts and deep look into the facts are made relevant. With Lane's consent, Weaver retold her story in his own way, making use of her ideas but adding material from his personal experience and other relevant sources.Part One: Comparisons and Contrasts, explores various puzzling questions of history in the context of the concept of human energy. I love the book and the designs in it. Hardcore fans of Lennon (especially) will no doubt find some interesting pieces in this nicely presented book. Its really lost something.. I bought this book for a college class thinking "I'll probably never even open it." Open it I did and learned many details I thought I knew but didn't understand.
