His was devoted to the young audience, never speaking down in the least. I truly enjoy how Anondra Williams brings her characters to life. He assumes that they know enough Latin and French to translate phrases and titles and that they have a general knowledge of Western culture. Only a description for each example, a block diagram and a Fritzing diagram are provided for the rest of the examples in the book. Turning the pages, you may feel a bit voyeuristic at times, and ashamed of peeking into somebody else’s hardships. Others are roll-your-eyes funny! Some of them may require some knowledge of a particular sport, but most are obvious. The book includes an Intro by his mentor Richard Walter at UCLA Film school, an Epilogue, Bibliography, List of Film and Video Shorts, Short Film Distributors, and Index.The most important section is in Part I which includes Nine Writing Exercises, especially #6, #7 and #8. I read it in about 30 minutes. It's built out of some classic superhero/science fiction tropes, but there's nothing truly interesting after the world-building ends.Sure, the world-building is a little fun. The information in this volume is a little behind, but with the speed of technological advances it could have been printed this morning and I could still say that in all honesty. The anger in the commentaries is so unbalanced that it overwhelms his rare cogent arguments.Let's not even get into que
