I'm going to give a somewhat unusual review here. The contents of this history are very interesting, if you like this sort of thing (history of science in the 20th century, which always has a different sort of feel from histories of science in older centuries). Informing book! I loved this book! Somehow I felt very empowered by learning the facts and statistics behind the placebo effect, and by learning methods to help my body respond to the placebo effect in order to heal.
