When I first picked up this book I found it almost impossible to put down, and I caught myself reading it whenever I had free time. LIke Hurley in "Lost", everybody loves Xiv; please give the loyal, innocent, and kind dragonboy a more prominent role in the future!. Then again, I have a weakness for badass old ladies, especially ones who are well-versed in all the proper ways to deal with the Fair Folk. I like a good slow burn in the romance department, and this book delivers on that as well. Out of respect for their host and to keep the human police from meddling in supernatural species affair, the Conclave search for the killer.Because Griffen is atypical of the dragon species, he has many diverse supernatural friends who come through for him when he is framed. They were selling it for $30.00. The why's, when's, and where's that now make networks more understandable. There are pictures within pictures. The defender can chose the maps - and that means a lot! It forces the other players chose of the attacking 'Mechs - woodland maps? He sure will use mobile, jump capable designs.
